Talking Trails

This APP is intended for all lovers of mountain hiking. And precisely for all those who do not see hiking as an athletic or sporting feat, but also as an opportunity for learning more about the history and culture.

It's so that, thanks to the Veneto Region and the Regional Alpine Club, it was possible to build and put at your disposal this application that wants to disclose the themes of the area of Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage.

The idea arose at the same time as the evolution of means of communication, which have developed today thanks to the satellite network in areas that until very recently were almost isolated.

Thanks to this network it is nearly always possible to identify the position of your Smartphone; this position is determined by taking the GPS coordinates of the place where it is.

The same coordinates also enable the spontaneous activation of messages, images and audio, in determined points (stages) of an organised "speaking" trail.

Het is zo dat, dankzij de regio Veneto en de Regionale Alpine Club, was het mogelijk om te bouwen en zet uw beschikking deze toepassing die wil de thema's van het gebied van de Dolomieten, de Unesco World Heritage onthullen.

Dezelfde coördinaten de spontane activering van berichten, beelden en audio, in bepaalde punten (stadia) van een georganiseerde "spreken" trail mogelijk te maken ook.
